On 4th September, Prof. Henry Gao, Singapore Management University Professor of Law, delivered a keynote speech at the China-Singapore International Digital Cooperation Forum 2023. Hosted jointly by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore and the Government of Chongqing, China, this annual event stands as a hallmark for the China-Singapore Chongqing Connectivity Initiative (CCI).
During Prof. Gao's speech, he delved into Singapore's Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA), highlighting its key features, while also addressing the main challenges and opportunities arising from China's application. The speech was well received by the audience, which included senior officials in charge of digital trade issues from both China and Singapore.
