CAIDG was privileged to co-host with Microsoft the "Use of Generative AI in the Legal Industry and Academia" Roundtable with Microsoft's Chief Legal Officer, Hossein Nowbar at SMU on 2 April 2024.
The roundtable commenced with opening remarks by SMUYPHSL’s Dean, Prof Lee Pey Woan and an introduction by Microsoft Corporation Chief Legal Officer, Hossein Nowbar. Facilitated by Joy Fuyuno, Regional Director for Commercial Legal at Microsoft Asia, the roundtable delved into discussions on the AI regulatory landscape and outlook, legal issues in data protection and IP, and AI and sustainability. The roundtable concluded with a networking session among participants.
